THE VILLA
Summer 1963 my parents from Lyon, visiting their friend Daniel Viglietti, first laid eyes on this barely finished house. Before taking the national road to Lyon, a small detour through the Maregau Saint Mandrier was necessary.
They had just found THE VILLA!
130m2 on a 950m2 land in front of the sea, entirely built in Cassis stone.
My parents became owners in February 64. I was born in Lyon on August 1st of the same year. A few days later, I discovered the house.
A large part of the work was carried out by my father in 1968: swimming pool, ground floor and veranda.
All my life this house has been a foundation to me. Lots of joy, and sometimes a necessity to come here to console my sorrows. I taught my 3 children to walk on these stones.
In 2019, I started a huge renovation in the modernist spirit of my parents. Today, I want the future to be here.
With great pride, I see my children teaching their little ones to love this place.
